Species and Location of Trees
Tree ID 5259 An Ash tree approximately 11m in height, situated in the rear garden central on the far boundary. The tree is showing early signs of dieback in the crown and is interfering with a more valuable adjacent Scots Pine.
Tree ID 5264 A Pear tree approximately 8.5m in height, situated in the rear garden on the right-hand side. The tree is showing signs of decline.
Tree ID 5267 A Hazel tree approximately 7m in height, situated in the rear garden on the mid left-hand side. The tree is becoming too wide spreading.
Tree ID 5271 A Scots Pine tree approximately 12m in height, situated in the rear garden in the far left-hand corner.
Description of Approved Works
Tree ID 5259 Remove and replace with a Magnolia in the front garden.
Tree ID 5264 Remove and replace. The base can be left standing at 1m height for wildlife habitat if possible.
Tree ID 5267 Reduce crown width and height by around 1.5m ensuring a natural shape.
Tree ID 5271 Only deadwood to be removed on the inside overhang towards the Ash trees.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 5259 above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Magnolia ‘Heaven Scent ‘
Magnolia ‘Susan’
Prunus ‘Amanogawa
The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 10-12cm.
As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 5264 above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’ (False Acacia)
Tilia henyana (Chinese Lime)
Ginkgo biloba (Maindenhair tree)
The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 10-12cm.
The new trees are to be installed by March 2026.
