Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

T1.   An Ash tree approximately 11m in height, situated in the front garden.  The tree has decay and a presence of fungal fruiting bodies at the base of cavity.

Description of Approved Works

T1.  Fell to ground level and remove stump.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the front garden, due to the name of the property, “Ash Cottage” the replacement must be of Fraxinus genus and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Fraxinus Americana “Autumn Purple”     (American Purple Ash)

Fraxinus ornus “Manna Ash”                     (Flowering Ash)

Fraxinus excelsior “Altena”                        (Pyramidal Common Ash)

The new tree should be planted by March 2027 with a stem girth of between 10-12cm at 1.75m height.
