Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Crimson Maple tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is dead.

T2.          A Yew tree approximately 3m in height, situated close to the right-hand corner of the house.

T3.          A Cypress tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the garden.  The tree is dying.

T4.          A Cypress tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is dying.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.          Remove and the stump poisoned.

T3.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T4.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

T1.          As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree should be planted in the front right-hand corner adjacent to Court Lane and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Ginkgo biloba                     (Maidenhair tree)

Betula nigra                        (River Birch)

Paulownia tomentosa    (Foxglove tree)

The new tree should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.

T2.          None.  A replacement tree is not necessary.

T3.          As a condition of the removal of (T3) above, a replacement tree should be planted in a nearby location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Betula jacquemontii                       (Silver Birch)

Fagus sylvatica ‘Purpurea’            (Purple Beech)

Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’       (Yellow False Acacia)

The new tree should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.

T4.          None.  A replacement tree is not necessary as an Oak tree is situated nearby.
