Species and Location of Trees
Tree ID 7067 A Cedrus Atlanticaa tree approximately 16m in height, situated in the rear garden on the near left-hand side. There is dead ivy inside the tree and it is slightly out of shape.
Tree ID 7068 A Lawsons Cypress tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the rear garden on the near left-hand side.
Tree ID 7069 A Sycamore tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the rear garden in the far left-hand corner. The tree is dead.
Tree ID 7070 A Norway Maple tree approximately 7m in height, situated in the rear garden on the right-hand side (Under the Cedar).
Description of Approved Works
Tree ID 7067 The new tree should be planted during the November 2025 and March 2026 planting season with a stem girth of between 10-12cm at 1.5m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.
Tree ID 7068 Only very light trimming of lateral growth up to 15cm in reduction where necessary to improve shape.
Tree ID 7069 Remove.
Tree ID 7070 Remove.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 7069 above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a similar location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Amelanchier lamarkii (Service Berry)
Prunus ‘Amanogawa’ (Flagpole Cherry)
Malus hupehensis (Upright Crab Apple)
The new tree should be planted during the November 2025 and March 2026 planting season with a stem girth of between 8-12cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 1.8m.
As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 7070 above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Acer campestre (Field Maple)
Prunus Shimidsu Sakura (Japanese Cherry)
Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan)
The new tree should be planted during the November 2025 and March 2026 planting season with a stem girth of between 10-12cm at 1.5m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.
