Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Cherry tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is considered to be too close to the house.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a suitable location of the front garden and below are the four alternative species for consideration:

Hoheria glabrata               (Mallow (family))

Laburnum x vossii            (Golden Chain)

Amelanchier lamarckii    (Snowy Mespilus)

Rhus typhina                      (Sumach)

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 12-14cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.  The new tree is to be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season.
