Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Cherry tree approximately 8m in height, situated to the front garden lawn.  The tree is in poor condition.

G1.        Various Yucca approximately 4m in height, situated to the front and rear.  The Yucca are in poor condition.

T2.         A Horse Chestnut tree approximately 18m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Fell to the ground.

G1.        Fell to the ground.

T2.         The condition of the tree should be assessed in order to inform an acceptable specification.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a suitable location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Yoshino Cherry               (Prunus Yedoensis)

Service Tree                     (Sorbus torminalis)

Magnolia                          (Magnolia spp.)

The new tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 12-14cm.  A generous depth 1m wide mulched pit is necessary.
