Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1/2.      Two Pear trees approximately 10m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  A large bough snapped from the tree on the left-side resulting the tree being unbalanced.

Description of Approved Works

T1/2.      Remove.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removals of the above, two replacement trees are to be planted in a suitable location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Crataegus prunifolia        (Cockspur Thorn)

Arbutus unedo                  (Strawberry tree)

Davidia involucrate          (Pocket Handkerchief tree)

The trees should be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
