Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          An Oak tree approximately 20m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden.

T2.          A Holly tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden close to the Oak tree above (T1) and slightly towards the house.  The tree is too tall for the its location.

T3.          A Malus tree approximately 9m in height, situated in the front left-hand corner adjacent to College Road.

T4.          A Yellow False Acacia tree approximately 5m in height, situated in the front right-hand corner adjacent with College Road.  The tree is a little low growing.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Limited lifting of low branches to provide a clearance of 3m from ground level, together with the removal of dead wood and epicormic growth.  The height, balance and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points.

T2.          Reduce to approximately 2m above ground level and round off to form a more compact specimen.

T3.          Removal of dead wood and water shoots together with necessary tidying and re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T4.          Lift low branches to provide a clearance of between 2.5m and 3m from ground level including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.
