Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID T2           An Ash tree situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID T3           An Ash tree situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID T4           An Ash tree situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID T5           An Ash tree situated in the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID T2           Heavily reduce canopy to 4m above main stem union (union at 8m above ground level) with reduction of any lateral branches below this level to 1m length from stem attachment.  Assess extent of decay in wound at join in east stem.

Tree ID T3           Fell to ground level (grinding not permitted).

Tree ID T4           Heavily reduce canopy by circa 6m height in line with photograph marked up by Dulwich Estate Tree and Landscape manager.  Reduce back all laterals below this level to 1m length from stem attachment.

Tree ID T5           Pollard to 7m habitat stub with lateral below reduced to 50cm length from stem attachment.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of Tree ID T3 above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Tilia tormentosa “Petiolaris”        (Weeping Silver Lime)

Ulmus lutece                                    (Lutece Elm)

Robinia pseudoacacia                    (False Acacia)

The new tree is to be planted by March 2027.

Tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference)
