Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          Three Yew trees approximately 7m-9m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden, two on the left-side and one on the right-side.  The trees are badly sited and causing dense shade to other nearby species.

T2.          An Elder tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is poorly shaped and is leaning.

T3.          A Yew tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.

T4.          A Holly tree covered in Ivy and situated on the left-side boundary of the rear garden and close to T3.  The tree is dead.

T5.          Four Yew trees approximately 7.5m in height, situated far too close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

T6.          A Eucalyptus tree approximately 18m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.  The tree is very dense and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T3.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.

T4.          Remove.

T5.          Remove and the roots grubbed out where possible.

T6.          Crown thin by 25% including the removal of any dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height may be reduced by up to 30%.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.

Details of Replacement Required

None.  The garden is well stocked with mature trees.
