Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A mature Fig tree approximately 2.5m in height, situated in the right-hand corner of the front garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T2.         A small number of self-sown Elder saplings approximately 3m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The trees are inappropriate species.

T3.         A Yew tree approximately 3m in height, situated close to the rear right hand corner of the house.  The tree is a little dense and out of shape.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.         Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T3.         Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary trimming back from the house.  The height and basic shape should be retained.
