Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 7390      A Hawthorn tree approximately 9m in height, situated in the right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is dead and leaning.

Tree ID 7391      A Plum tree approximately 5m in height, situated in the far right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is poor structure and distracting from the newly planted line of specimen Portuguese Laurels behind.

Tree ID 7392      A Lawsons Cypress tree approximately 8m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the rear garden adjacent to the Holm Oak.  The top growth is growing into the Holm Oak.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 7390      Remove.

Tree ID 7391      Remove.

Tree ID 7392      Perform a crown height reduction of 2.5m by pruning back to suitable secondary growth points. The lower canopy is to be reshaped by trimming lateral growth by up to 50cm as required. Pruning must be sympathetic, ensuring that the green foliage is retained and the natural silhouette of the tree is preserved.

Details of Replacement Required

None.  No replacements required as several new trees have been planted around the garden.
