Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Sycamore tree approximately 15m in height, situated in a central location on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is very dense, low growing, and wide spreading.

T2.          A Spruce tree approximately 16m in height, situated close to the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.

T3.          A Bay tree approximately 10m in height, situated to the front of the Spruce (T2) on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is very dense.  The tree has become far too large for its location.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches up to 6m above ground level, and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.          The tree should be retained in its present form.  Low growing snag end branches should be removed by pruning at the main trunk, together with all dead.

T3.          Remove together with roots grubbed out where possible.

Details of Replacement Required

None.  A replacement tree is not necessary as the garden is well stocked with trees.
