Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A False Acacia tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the front right-hand corner adjacent to Burbage Road.

T2.          A False Acacia tree approximately 10m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

T3.          A Purple Plum tree approximately 6m in height, situated close to the house and inset from the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is leaning at an acute angle into the garden.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Removal of dead wood only.

T2.          Removal of dead wood only.

T3.          There are two low growing boughs encroaching side by side into the garden, the bough which splits into two should be removed, in order to relieve some of the weight on the leaning side.  The tree should be crown thinned by 25% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots, particularly on the leaning side in order to help redress the balance.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.
