Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 4855      A Lawsons Cypress tree approximately 18m in height, situated in the front garden by the side of the driveway.

Tree ID 4856      An Ash tree approximately 16m in height, situated in the rear garden midway on the right-hand boundary.

Tree ID 4857      A Yew tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the rear garden on the near right-hand side.

Tree ID 4858      A False Acacia tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the rear garden on the near left-hand side.

Tree ID 4859      A Yew tree approximately 9m in height, situated in the front garden on the eastern boundary.

Tree ID 6152      A Holly tree approximately 5m in height, situated in the rear garden midway on the right-hand boundary.

Tree ID 6156      A Hawthorn tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the rear garden on the far right-hand side boundary.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 4855      Remove.  Removal is strictly conditional upon the sourcing and approval of replacement trees. 

Tree ID 4856      Remove the lowest lateral limb on the northern axis, extending over the fence and Elder (Sambucus sp.). The cut must be made carefully back to the main stem (target pruning). Also, remove the lowest lateral limb growing towards the main property structure. All deadwood to be removed from the crown, including those sections over Turney Road (access road to No. 151 & 153).

Tree ID 4857      Reduce the crown by up to 1.0 metre. The crown must be re-shaped to ensure a natural and balanced form.

Tree ID 4858      Remove one low lateral stem that is growing into the garden space. The final cut should be made using target pruning.

Tree ID 4859      Reduce the crown by up to 1.5 m including the overhang into Turney Road (access for No. 151 & 153). The crown must be re-shaped to ensure a natural and balanced form.

Tree ID 6152      Shape to improve form with a reduction of up to a maximum of 1m where necessary.

Tree ID 6156      To be trimmed all over by up to 1m to improve shape and control spread into the neighbouring Ash tree.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 4855 above, two replacement tree Scots Pine tree are to planted.  Both trees should be of a minimum height of 4m with main stem girth of 12-16cm, measured at 1m above ground level.  Removal is strictly conditional upon the sourcing and approval of replacement trees.

Pre-Removal Requirement – Photos of the two replacement trees must be submitted for approval before the Cypress is removed.

Three (x3) pleached Holly trees are to be planted directly on the boundary line to provide immediate and maximum evergreen screening for the benefit of No. 116.
