Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID T4           A Eucalyptus tree situated in the rear garden.  The tree is dead.

Tree ID T5           A Magnolia tree approximately 9m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID T8           A Cypress tree approximately 12m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID ?              A Cypress tree (not numbered) approximately 4m in height, situated in front of (T8) above.  The tree is dead.

Tree ID T9           A Cypress tree, situated in the rear garden.  The tree is in conflict with existing Lime avenue.

Tree ID G1           Limes approximately 15m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID T13         A Cedar tree approximately 15m in height, situated in the front garden.

Tree ID ?              A Birch tree (un-numbered) approximately 3m in height, situated in the front garden.  The tree is adjacent to (T10) Oak tree.

Tree ID T10         An Oak tree, situated in the front garden.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID T4           Fell dead tree.  Stump grinding permitted.

Tree ID T5           Radial crown reduction (including height) by up to 1.5m back to closest growth point.

Tree ID T8           Remove lower east branch. Reduce on eastern side by 2 – 3m. reduce in height by 2 – 3m. face of tree to be neatened with hedge trimmer without taking back beyond live growth.

Tree ID ?              Fell dead tree.  Stump grinding permitted. – No replacement required.

Tree ID T9           Fell tree to ground level. Stump grinding NOT permitted.

Tree ID G1           Reduce in height by up to 3m back to closest growth point.

Tree ID T13         Remove lower western branch (at approximately 4m above ground level) back to stem through natural target pruning. Remove dead wood throughout canopy.

Tree ID ?              Remove.  No replacement required.

Tree ID 10           Reduce crown height and radial spread by 1.0 – 1.5m back to closest growth point. Sever and strip ivy. remove epicormic growth on stem and within canopy to a height of 7m.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of Tree ID T4 above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden.  Due to works related to house development-planting to be included in landscape re-design (to be completed by March 2028).

Tree to be procured in line with BS3936[1992] (8-10cm stem circumference)
