Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Bay tree situated underneath a reasonably mature Oak tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T2.         A Cypress hedge approximately 5-6m in height, situated at the bottom of the rear garden.

T3.         A Sycamore tree approximately 12m in height, situated close to the bottom left corner of the rear garden.  The tree is in poor health and condition and appears to be dying.

T4.         A Holly tree approximately 4m in height, situated on the left-side of the front garden. The tree is a little tall and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Either reduce in height by approximately 50%, and round off to form a more compact specimen, or the side growth trimmed back as necessary, including the removal of dead wood and base growth.

T2.         Reduce in height to approximately 3m and the side growth trimmed to a vertical line.

T3.         Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T4.         Reduced in height by approximately 1m and the side growth reduced proportionally.

Details of Replacement Required

None.  Replacement trees are not necessary as the garden is well stocked with mature trees
