Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.       A Weeping Willow tree approximately 15m in height, situated in a central location towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree is in poor health and condition with damaged bark in the lower trunk.

T2.       A Eucalyptus tree approximately 15m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is sited too close to the rear elevation of the property.

Description of Approved Works

T1.       Remove and the stump ground out.

T2.       Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

T1.       As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a suitable location of the rear garden within six months and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:

Fagus sylvatica                         (Beech)

Liriodendron tulipifera              (Tulip tree)

Robinia pseudoacacia               (False Acacia)

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 18-22cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 4m.

T2.       As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a suitable location of the rear garden within six months and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:

Crataegus prunifolia                 (Cockspur Thorn)

Betula jacquemontii                  (Silver Birch)

Liquidambar styraciflua             (Sweet Gum of N America)

 

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 18-22cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 4m.
