Species and Location of Tree

A multi-stemmed Laburnum tree approximately 5m in height, situated in the front left-hand corner of the garden adjacent to Alleyn Road.  Two of the main stems are falling across the entrance to no.52 Alleyn Road due to decay at the base of the tree.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a nearby location of the front garden and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:

Amelanchier lamarckii    (Snowy Mespilus)

Halesia carolina                 (Snowdrop tree)

Sorbus aucuparia              (Rowan)
