Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A self-sown Ash tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is in poor health and condition.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Prunus cerasifera ‘Atropurpureum’         (Purple Plum)

Paulownia tomentosa                                    (Foxglove tree)

Liquidambar styraciflua                                 (Sweet Gum)

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.  The replacement tree should be planted this planting season between November 2021 and March 2022.
