Species and Location of Trees
Tree ID 6682 A Lime tree approximately 15m in height, situated in the front garden on the pavement boundary.
Tree ID 6683 A Sycamore tree approximately 18m in height, situated in the rear garden on the near left-hand side. The crown is showing severe dieback.
Description of Approved Works
Tree ID 6682 Remove sucker growth at the base of the main stem without damaging the bark to reduce the pressure on the adjacent cracked wall enabling wall repair/replacement.
Tree ID 6683 Remove.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 6683 above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Ginkgo biloba (Maidenhair tree)
Quercus frainetto (Hungarian Oak)
Ulmus lutece (Disease resistant Elm)
The new tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 12-14cm at 1.5m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3.5m. The new tree is to be planted during the October 2025 and March 2026 planting season.
