Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Horse Chestnut tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary.  The tree is a little dense and low growing.

T2.          A Lime tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary.

T3.          A Lime tree approximately 15m in height, situated on the bottom boundary adjacent to South Croxted Road.  The tree is a little low growing over a garden shed.

T4.          A twin stemmed Ash tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary.  The tree is sited too close to other adjacent trees.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary lifting of low branches up to 3m from ground level.  The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.          One stem (to the right) rather than both stems to be removed, together with lifting of low branches up to 3m from ground level.

T3.          Lift low branches up to 3m from ground level, including the removal of any dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T4.          Remove by felling at ground level.

None.  The garden is well stocked with trees
