Alleyn Park, 78

Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A twin stemmed Ash tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the side garden.  The tree is situated against the wall of the adjacent Post Office sorting depot.  The tree is far too close to the building.

T2.          A False Acacia tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the front garden adjacent to Alleyn Park.  The tree is a little dense.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove by felling at ground level together with the stump being poisoned.

T2.          Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and necessary lifting of low branches over the sorting office building.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
