Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

A Lime tree approximately 9m in height, situated close to the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is in poor health and condition although not dead, however, there is a very large cavity at the base of the trunk for almost the whole of the base area excluding the bark, it also extends some 600mm below ground level.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below is the agreed alternative specie:

Tilia euchlora                     (Lime (non drip))

 

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.  The tree is to be planted during the November 2021 to March 2022 planting season.
