Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Cherry tree approximately 4m in height situated close to the front right-hand corner of the garage.  The tree is a poor specimen and poorly sited.

T2.          A Purple Plum tree approximately 8m in height, situated on the front boundary with Alleyn Park.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

T3.          Two Yew trees approximately 5m in height, situated close to the front boundary.  The trees are a little tall.

T4.          A Cypress tree approximately 4.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the front garden.  The tree is an unsightly specimen.

T5.          A Yew tree approximately 6, in height, situated to the left-side near the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little tall.

T6.          An Ash tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.

T7.          A Pine tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the stump ground out.

T2.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T3.          Reduce in height by up to 1.5m and the sides clipped proportionally.

T4.          Remove and the roots grubbed out where possible.

T5.          Reduce in height by up to 1.5m and the sides clipped proportionally.

T6.          Remove and the stump either ground out or poisoned.

T7.          The tree should be retained in its present form and at its existing height.  No work is recommended apart from the removal of dead wood.

None.  The garden is very well stocked with trees.
