Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Silver Birch tree approximately 18m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

T2.          A Holm Oak tree approximately 12m in height, situated midway down the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little low growing.

T3.          Two Horse Chestnut trees approximately 18m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The trees are a little dense and wide-spreading.

T4.          A Plane tree approximately 16m in height, situated in the front left-hand corner adjacent to Alleyn Park.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and the removal of up to two low growing branches.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T2.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and the removal of two low growing branches.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T3.          Crown thin both trees by 20% including the removal of dead wood, and necessary shortening of selected branches encroaching over the garden in order to create a gap between the Chestnuts and a large Plane on the opposite side of the garden.

T4.          Crown thin by up to 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary shortening of selected branches encroaching over the garden in order to create a gap between the Chestnuts on the opposite side of the garden.  The height and basic shape should be retained.
