Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 7359      An Ash tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the front garden.  The tree is in poor form with die-back and within the footprint of the new proposed development.

Tree ID 7360      A Yew tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the front garden.  The tree is withing the footprint of the new development.

Tree ID 7425      A Leyland Cypress Hedge approximately 2m in height, situated on the boundary with the pavement in the front garden.  Not compatible with new design.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 7359      Remove.

Tree ID 7360      Remove.

Tree ID 7425      Remove and replace with new planting.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removals of Tree ID 7359 and Tree ID 7360 above, five replacement trees should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the alternative specie for consideration:

Prunus sargentii              (Sargent’s Cherry)

Prunus x subhirtella        (Winter-flowering Cherry)

Sorbus torminalis            (Wild Service Tree)

Ulmus ‘Wredei’               (Golden Elm)

Tilia henryana                  (Chinese Lime)
