Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.       A Yellow False Acacia tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the front             garden.  The tree is dead.

T2.       A Purple Plum tree approximately 9m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.                 The tree is a little dense.

T3.       A Wild Plum tree approximately 9m in height, situated close to the bottom right-hand corner of the rear                     garden.  The tree is a little dense.

Description of Approved Works

T1.       Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots and necessary re-shaping.  The                    height and basic shape should be retained.  Ivy should be severed at the base and removed where possible.                It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or                            pollarding which is not permitted.

T3.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and one low branch encroaching over the garden.                    The  height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth                      points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T1), a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:

Sorbus aria’Majestica’              (Whitebeam variety)

Magnolia x soulangeana             (Deciduous Magnolia)

Laburnum x vossii                    (Laburnum)
