Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Eucalyptus tree approximately 12m in height, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden. The tree is too large and dominating in a relatively small garden.

T2.         An Ash tree approximately 6m in height, situated midway down the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The main trunk of the tree has serious decay in the heartwood and is unstable.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Remove and the roots either poisoned or grubbed out,

T2.         Remove and the roots treated as described.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Magnolia soulangeana                (Deciduous Magnolia)

Crataegus ‘Paul’s Scarlet’             (Crimson May tree)

Sorbus aucuparia                          (Rowan)
