Proposal:

Species and Location of Tree

A Magnolia tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated in the front garden close to the front elevation of the property.  The tree has contributed to structural movement at the front of the house and particularly the bay window.

Description of Approved Works

Removed and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a suitable location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Laburnum x vossii                         (Golden Chain)

Acer griseum                                (Paperbark Maple)

Albizzia julibrissin                          (Silk tree)

The tree should be planted this planting season between November 2020 and March 2021 with a stem girth of between 12-14cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.
