Rockwells Gardens, 3

Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Copper Beech tree approximately 12m in height, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading over the adjacent property at no 41 Oakfield Gardens.

T2.          A Holly tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden, in front of the Copper Beech tree.  The tree is in good health and condition although detracts from the visual amenity of the more important Copper Beech tree.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and necessary shortening of branches encroaching over the roof and gutters of the Oakfield Gardens property.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.          Remove and the roots grubbed out or poisoned.

Details of Replacement Required
