NEWS:

Village businesses, charities and schools mark the festive season

06 December 2018

A big thank you to everyone involved in the first Dulwich Village Christmas Stocking festive event.

More than 30 local businesses and organisations, four local schools and two community orchestras came together in a community event to celebrate the festive season.

The Dulwich Estate worked with local traders and Southwark Council to organise the event and to reinstate Brian Green’s tradition of putting Christmas trees on shops throughout the Village.

Kingfisher’s and St Christopher’s Hospice were beneficiaries of fund-raising at Biff and Romeo Jones.

The streets were buzzing with families enjoying music, theatre, crafts, a children’s disco and story-telling sessions. We hope this will be the first of an annual community event.

There is still time to join in the Village mystery stocking trail which runs until Sunday 16 December. Go to Green's Toyshop for more information and follow @DulwichVillage for more news.
