Dulwich commemorates war centenary

The community commemorated all those who gave their lives during the First World War at a special centenary service.

Dulwich paid tribute to all those who gave their lives during the First World War in a remembrance parade and service on Sunday November 11. Several hundred people gathered by the memorial cross at Christ’s Chapel in Dulwich Village. Wreaths were laid on behalf of The Edward Alleyn Club Alleyn’s School, Dulwich College and James Allen’s Girls’ School; The Parish of St Barnabas with Christ’s Chapel; The Dulwich Estate Trustees and The Combined Cadet Forces.
