Tree planting at St Olave’s Grammar School

13 December 2019

The Dulwich Estate’s Chairman of Trustees Nicola Meredith and Trustee Roger Westbrook met pupils at beneficiary school, St Olave’s Grammar School, as part of the anniversary celebrations. They planted a commemorative foxglove tree with headteacher Andrew Rees, to mark 400 years of Alleyn’s College of God’s Gift. It is one of 75 trees planted this year by The Dulwich Estate, and one of 7 commemorative foxgloves gifted to beneficiary schools with a historical connection to Edward Alleyn’s original foundation.
