New businesses coming soon to the area
03 December 2025The new year will see the arrival of an array of independent businesses to the area. Here are the first three set to open their doors soon.
Chococo
Award-winning hand-made chocolate business comes to 7 Croxted Road, West Dulwich. Chococo offers fresh chocolates in plastic free packaging and also boasts award-winning ice-cream and chocolate brownies at its small independent shops. It brings its chocolate house concept to the area. Customers can find chocolate gifts or stay and enjoy a hot chocolate, coffee, or gelato. For more information go to Instagram @chococochocolates
The Restorative Place
An independent yoga, pilates and reformer pilates studio is due to open at 41 Dulwich Village. The Restorative Place will be the first dedicated studio of its kind in the Village centre. Owner Sophia Mephan-Jones aims to create a wellness space in the Village where community classes for all ages and stages of life will be offered. Programming includes daily reformer pilates classes, pre and post natal yoga, private sessions and mat-based pilates. All classes will be led by experienced professionals and are designed to ‘restore mind, body, breath and self’.
Mino Pottery Painting
Joining the continuing popularity of pottery workshops, Mino Pottery Painting & Café arrives at Half Moon Lane to offer creative events for birthdays and special occasions. Educational, artist and cultural events are also planned for the space which will also sell a selection of stoneware pottery.
