Master signwriter updates Chapel honours’ boards
13 March 2026The Honours’ boards at Christ's Chapel have been beautifully updated to include the names of recent Heads and chaplains from the Dulwich foundation schools.
This meticulous work has been carried out by a master signwriter and marks the enduring legacy of Edward Alleyn (1566 – 1626) who established the College of God’s Gift at Dulwich in 1619. To this day, his charitable gift provides educational support, homes for older people and the upkeep of Christ’s Chapel.
