Reforesting of the Great North Wood
15 December 2023The Dulwich Estate is working with Dulwich-based charity Guardians Worldwide (GWW) to replant areas of the Great North Wood and facilitate public access to community green spaces.
The Grange Lane Tree Rescue Hub has received £5,000 for the facilitation of three community workshops focusing on eco-acoustics with Leeds Conservatoire. A grant of £500 has been made by Tree Council for tree-planting equipment, and a £3,000 award for community engagement by Lush Charity Pot will also support the initiative.
