Schools have been supporting the community in protecting public health.

Schools have been supporting the community in protecting public health. A team of five Dulwich College Design and Technology pupils and staff have created over 2,500 PPE visors for surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals and care homes in Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham. JAGS lent the College two 3D printers. A second design enabling close patient care, has been given BSI accreditation. Alleyn’s DT department has also supplied over 1200 protective face masks to local NHS hospitals and community care homes.

Making the face-shields has been an amazingly rewarding and humbling experience
