Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Magnolia tree approximately 8m in height, situated in the front garden.  The lower canopy is causing a nuisance to the bay window and the footway.

T2.          An Apple tree located in the rear garden.  The tree is being supressed by a neighbouring Birch tree.

T3.          An Apple tree located in the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          The crown should be laterally reduced to previous points by up to 2m, retaining overall size and form.

T2.          The crown should be reduced to previous points by up to 2m.

T3.          The tree may be removed.

Details of Replacement Required

T3.          As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

 

Cherry plum                       (Prunus cerasifera)

Greengage plum              (Prunus domestica var.)

Pear                                       (Pyrus spp)

 

The new tree should be planted during the November 2024 and March 2025.
