Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

An evergreen Magnolia tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is dying from the disease ‘Honey fungus’.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Albizzia julibrissin           (Silk tree)

Tamarix pentandra         (Tamarisk)

Crataegus prunifolia       (Cockspur Thorn)
