Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Sycamore tree approximately 16m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear of the property.  The tree is dead.

T2.          A Nut Bush approximately 5m in height situated to the front of (T1) above.

T3.          A Cherry tree situated to the right side and within the open space to the rear.  The tree is leaning/

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove by felling at ground level.

T2.          Remove all dead wood and re-shape as necessary.

T3.          No work is recommended at this time.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree should be planted close by and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Liquidamber styraciflua                 (Sweet Gum)

Aesculus x carnea                             (Red Chestnut)

Tilia x euchlora                                  (Lime (non-drip)

The new tree should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
