Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          Three Silver Birch trees approximately 7.5m in height, situated close to the bottom boundary.  The trees are a little dense and wide spreading.

T2.          A Cherry tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden. The tree is a little dense.

T3.          A Weeping Ash tree approximately 4m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and low growing.

T4.          A Fig tree approximately 4.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense.

T5.          A Malus tree approximately 5m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 15% including the removal of any dead wood and necessary re-shaping to form more compact and upright specimens, the height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T3.          Low branches to be lifted and the tree re-shaped to form a more compact specimen whilst retaining its natural weeping form.

T4.          Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.

T5.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
