Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A small Eucalyptus tree approximately 5m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is now dead.

T2.         A Bay tree approximately 2m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is dead.

T3.         A Cherry tree approximately 12m in height, situated midway down the garden on the left-hand side of the rear garden. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T4.         A Beech tree approximately 10m in height, situated close to the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden and close to (T3) above.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T5.         A Cypress hedge approximately 3.5m in height, situated along the bottom boundary of the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Remove.

T2.         Remove.

T3.         Crown thin by approximately 20% including the removal of any dead wood, lifting of low wide spreading branches by pruning at the main trunk, and the necessary shaping of the tree, ensuring the height and basic shape is retained.

T4.         Crown thin by approximately 20% including the removal of any dead wood.  Branches encroaching within the crown of the Cherry tree should be cut back to convenient growth points in order to slightly separate the trees, the height and basic shape should be retained.

T5.         Height to be reduced by up to 1.5m and the sides clipped to a vertical face..
