Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Lime tree, pollarded at approximately 3m, situated on the front boundary near the left-hand corner, recently fell into the garden.

T2.          A Lime tree approximately 3m in height, situated on the front boundary to the left of the driveway.  The tree is dead.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          The tree had to be removed.

T2.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removals of the above, two replacement trees should be planted on the front boundary.  Both trees should be of the same species and variety and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Sorbus aucuparia                              (Rowan)

Crataegus ‘Paul’s Scarlet’                   (Crimson May tree)

Halesia carolina                                 (Snowdrop tree)

The new trees should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
