Proposal:

Species and Location of Tree

A Silver Birch tree approximately 4m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is dead.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:

                        Crataegus prunifolia                        (Cockspur Thorn)

                        Catalpa bignonioides                      (Indian Bean tree)

                         Koelreuteria paniculate                 (Pride of India)

Other trees which may be planted in the garden are:

                         Paulownia tomentosa                (Foxglove tree)

                         Sorbus aria ‘Majestica’             (Whitebeam variety)

                          Albizzia julibrissin                    (Silk tree)
