Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Staghorn Sumac tree approximately 5m in height, situated at the base of a wooden fence to the rear boundary with no.12.  The tree has spilt at the base.

T2.         A Cherry Plum tree approximately 3m in height, situated directly adjacent to the front of the property.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Fell to the ground.

T2.         Prune or reshape as necessary to abate nuisance.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the four alternative species for consideration:

Juneberry                        (Amelanchier spp)

Staghorn Sumac              (Rhus typhina)

Hawthorn                        (Crateagus spp)

Magnolia                          (Magnolia spp.)

The new tree should be planted during the November 2024 and March 2025 planting season at a minimum height of 2m.
