Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Purple Plum tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is very dense and wide spreading.

T2.          A twin stemmed Evergreen Magnolia tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated very close to the front left-hand corner of the house.  The tree is sited far too close to the house.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by approximately 25% including the removal of dead wood and epicormic growth, lifting of low branches, and the necessary shaping of the tree, ensuring the height and basic shape is retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.          Remove and the stump poisoned.

Details of Replacement Required

None.  A replacement tree is not necessary as the garden is well stocked with mature trees
