Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Eucalyptus tree approximately 11m in height, situated on the front boundary bordering the junction with Colby Road. The tree is a little too large for its location.

T2.          A Goat Willow tree approximately 9m in height, situated adjacent to. (T1) above.

T3/4.      A Sycamore and a Lime tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the front boundary adjacent to the entrance.

T5.          An Olive tree approximately 9m in height, situated close to the front right-hand corner of the house. 

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove by felling at ground level.

T2.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T3/4.      Both trees should be reduced to previous pollarding points as recommended by insurers.

T5.          The tree should be retained.  A crown reduction of 30% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.
