Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Fig tree approximately 4m in height, situated against the left-hand flank wall of the house.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T2.          A Cherry tree approximately 4m in height, situated on the front boundary to the left of the entrance.  The tree is a little wide spreading.

T3.          A Mimosa tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated on the right- hand side of the entrance off Dulwich Common.  The tree is encroaching over the footpath and road.

T4.          A Wild Plum tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the front boundary close to a mature Cypress tree.  The tree is a little out of shape.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and necessary trimming back.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.

T2.          Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T3.          Reduce in height to approximately 1.5m above ground level.

T4.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
