Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Macrocarpa Cypress tree approximately 15m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T2.         A similar Cypress tree is situated in a central location on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.

T3.         A Copper Beech tree approximately 15m in height, situated to the right-side of the garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T4.         An Oak tree approximately 15m in height, situated in a central location on the bottom boundary.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height should be retained, and green foliage should be retained all round and the inner dead wood not exposed.

T2.         Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height should be retained, and green foliage should be retained all round and the inner dead wood not exposed.  In addition, low branches may be trimmed back to the main trunk up to 4m from ground level.

T3.         Crown thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T4.         Lightly thin by 10% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping, it is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, also the basic shape should be retained.
